How Palworld mutations work
A mutation is a low-chance breeding event that can produce a stronger Pal with a unique passive. This calculator separates that event chance from the relative share each eligible species has inside the mutation pool.
The species-selection result is generated from the current versioned community/datamined model and the same normal breeding dataset used by the site. It is not presented as an official Pocketpair formula.

What does this mutation calculator show?
It shows the normal child and the possible mutated Pal species for a parent pair, or all parent pairs whose mutation pool can produce a selected target.
Does a full outcome share mean a certain mutation?
No. Outcome share is conditional on a mutation happening. The per-egg mutation event chance is a separate value and is not implied by the share shown in a result row.
Can mutation results change after a Palworld update?
Yes. The calculator is versioned and rebuilt from the current Pal dataset and mutation model, so eligible species, parent pairs and shares may change.
